    Hi,

We have 7 events in the term apprenticeship-dates. But when trying to view the link https://sensorysolutions.co.uk/events/calendar/apprenticeship-dates/ We are met with a 404 – “page not found”.

On a local clone of the site we have tested with just sugar calendar activated and the latest version of 2019 theme, no MU-plugins enabled.

    Permalinks cleared.

No change, what could be causing this to happen?

    Thanks for your time

    * An additional note; The link we’re getting a 404 for, is generated by the “Calendar List” widget.

    * Another update.

I’ve just tested the scenario with 100% clean slate.

    1. WordPress install from scratch
    2. Brand new database
    3. Install Sugar Calendar
    4. Create an event & create a new event calendar and assign new event to this calendar.
    5. Add calendar list widget to sidebar.
    6. Go to front end, click the newly created event listed in sidebar
    7. Receive 404

    Hi @mindtomatter!

If you click “View Event” from the admin edit screen or calendar view, do you still get a 404 or is it only when clicking the event from the list widget?

    Hi,

We’re not having issues with an individual event but in viewing a “Calendar” which the widget lists.

There is no view calendar from the admin to do so. Even so, would domain/events/calendar/calendar-name not be the correct url pattern?

    Thanks for looking into this.

Can you please tell me the URL to a page where the calendar list widget is shown?

I’ve since removed it from the live website.

The thing is. I’ve tested it now in 2 scenerios where we’re talking a fresh install of WP and SC, one event and one calendar. Whether you are using a the widget or not.

Going to the “Calendar” page/archive assigned to the only created event results in a 404.

    I hope this information helps.

I’ve just run through the steps again, outlined previously but on one of our servers.

Here’s a link to a fresh install with the widget added to 2019 sidebar.

Since testing on Friday, we now seem to be getting a different url generated

    https://test.thirtysixdigitaltesting.com/?taxonomy=sc_event_category&term=test-calendar

But this still does not go anywhere. I hope creating this test site will assist in finding the issue.

I’ve just managed to replicate the issue. It’s definitely a bug!

I’m logging it in our bug tracker and we’ll get it taken care of soon.

    Thanks for the report!

    That’s great news ??

Glad I was able to help.

The update that fixes this should be released this week.
