Orders are visible in the admin’s orders list, but when i login as a vendor i can not see any orders in the orders list at all.
It says “No items found.” only.

In my case the vendor is going to do the shipping and handling and should edit the order status in the dashboard. The admin view will be for monitoring only then.

In my site i would like to disable the commission system completely could that be an option ?

    Thanks for the good work!

Thanks for the applaud. To begin with, can you check if the orders visible as admin have the products associated to the particular vendor or they are related to some other vendor. Also, do check the order status. Orders show to vendor only when the order status is processing/completed. I believe the later is the reason why you don’t see anything when checking as vendor. Please change the order status and let me know if that makes a difference.

By default, WCMp does allows vendors to handle shipping. When order is in processing mode, vendors can mark it as “Shipped” from the vendor dashboard page in front-end but yes, they cannot change the default order status of WooCommerce. This is to be done by the admin. You can of course, achieve this via customization or plugins which allows to configure user roles.

Last but not the least, you can literally disable the commission module if you set up commission percentage to be 100%.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks for the quick response, The fact that vendors cannot change the default order status of WooCommerce is one of the things i need to change because i want to offer a free service to vendors.

To make it a free service i would like the orders to go directly to the vendor and let the vendor handle the payment for himself. Therefore i think i’ll need to disable the commission by setting to 0%

My profits on their sales wil be ‘Nothing’ then, wich is (in my case) correct.

Actually my wordpress is an extremely modified version of an older wordpress version. (v. 3.2) Kept (maually) compatible for most but not all plugins. WCMp seems to work perfectly except the orders do not appear in the vendors list. I was hoping to find a way to correct this and make it work on my wordpress version.

I can work with html, php and mysql so maybe you can give me a hint ?

    Thank’s for your time,
    Regards,

    Hello Bastiaan,

Thanks for your message. I am still looking for a possible way to achieve this. I tried using the user role editor plugins but that ended up giving me access to all orders of the shop. Actually, the Orders section that you see in the vendor back-end is a custom made one rather than just restricting the original order dashboard provided by WooCommerce. Would keep you posted with my findings.

    Hello Sandeep,

Yes i tried the same thing, when the user role has “edit_others_posts” enabled you can see all orders, else there are no orders at all.

I’ll keep on try-ing to find anohter way to get it done.

Thanks for the cooperation Bastiaan, would keep you posted if I find a way to achieve this.

Hello Bastiaan, to follow up on this feature I had an extensive discussion with the technical team and we found that it would require quite a bit customization to achieve the deliverable.

Maybe you can check with your developer. If you want us to help you on this, drop me a line or reach us out through the official website-https://wc-marketplace.com/ for custom support.

    Regards,
    Sandeep
