Sorry to be incomplete with my problem description. The problem occurs ONLY with existing posts on the site, not a problem when I create a new post. The content for this new development site https://new.mtadamschamber.com was imported from our current production site https://mtadamschamber.com.
– WordPress up to date? Yes- WP 4.0
– NextGEN up to date? Yes – 2.0.66.29
– What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.13, then upgraded to 2.0.61) – Irrelevant, hasn’t worked on this site since content was imported to https://new.mtadamschamber.com from https://mtadamschamber.com
(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
– MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)? Yes, 5.5.37-35.1
– PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)? Yes, 3.5.8.2
– The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? Yes
– PHP Safe Mode OFF? Not sure how to check this, but probably Off

– What theme are you running? Weaver II Pro
– Which plugins do you have installed and activated? – Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to a WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (please be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating) Yes… changed theme, disabled all plugins except NextGen, cleared cache
