• Hello! So I haven’t actually published my site yet because of this problem. I would like a nice homepage for people to come to when they first visit my new blog — https://www.readerradar.com. I’ve tried for a couple of days now to figure out this issue, so I’m hoping y’all can help me out because I’m not very computer-savvy to begin with. In my theme (and about four others I’ve tried), I do not have an option to set a static home page. I’ve tried to add the new page and then go to settings down to reading. It simply does not give me an option for anything dealing with the home page. I’ve tried to deactivate my plug-ins, that doesn’t help. I’ve chosen different themes, that doesn’t help. I’ve read books and forums and www.remarpro.com help pages. I’m just not sure why I’m having such crappy luck. I do not want my first page to just be a list of posts. Any suggestions will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Update: I figured it out! I have no idea how I did it. I still don’t have a static page option, but somehow, I got to a place where on the right hand side it asked me if I wanted to make the page Sticky. I clicked the box, and it worked! I know this is vaguely helpful to others who might be in my position.
