No one can comment

  • I am new to blogging and all the lingo is bascially over my head. My issue is that people cannot comment on my blog, I seem to have the option for people to do so but it wont work. My blog is aimee.blogtown.co.nz Please help.Thanks

  • Your articles are little bit long. Divide paragraphs. I commented one of your article, in my opinion, your comment seems not work. did you try to comment to one of your artticle? there is a problem at your comment section.

    Besides, i liked your articles, keep writing

    Yeah I have tried to comment to my own but with no luck. My contact page works but not the comment links. How can I solve a problem with the comment section. Thanks for your help.

    Double check to make sure you have the correct settings for your comments in your dashboard.

    Login to your dashboard
    click on “settings”
    then click “discussion”

    make sure that your comments are not being held in the “moderation queue”.
    if they are, then you’ll need to approve them before they’ll show up on the blog.

    Also, under the “before a comment appears” section, make sure that “Before a comment appears An administrator must always approve the comment” and “Comment author must have a previously approved comment” are NOT checked. Then you should be able to see the comments on the blog. Keep in mind though, this is to protect you from spam, and I would strongly recommend NOT just allowing anyone to post comments. ??
