• After updating to the latest foogallery update, the mobile page now shows only one image per page. It used to be able to show 2 columns (2 images side by side) on every page.

Also, the loading of the images becomes very slow compared to before the latest update.

    Hi @worldwebsite,

Which template are you using? I’m guessing the Masonry template? The CSS for the column layouts in that template forces the 4 or 5 column layout to 3 columns when the width of the device/page is smaller than 720px, 2 columns when smaller than 480px and then 1 column when smaller than 320px. These values should match the previous versions column auto-adjust so I’m not sure why you would be seeing only a single column where before you were seeing two.

As for the loading, could you provide a link to your site so I can see the loading issue? One thing to take into account with the latest version is that it has lazy loading built in. The images in the galleries will not be loaded until they are needed/visible.

    Thanks

I am using Simple Portfolio, not Masonry template.

    The website:

It is especially slow when viewing on mobile.
    Thanks.

    Hi worldwebsite,

Thank you for the link. I have tested on my Android mobile phone and also using browser testing tools to emulate other mobile phones (iphone 5, 6, 6plus) and your site is coming up with 2 columns on all phones and is loading quickly.

Are you still experiencing this issue yourself? If so, what phone and model are you viewing the site on?

Would you try viewing the site in an incognito browser on your phone to eliminate mobile caching as an issue?

    Thanks.

@phillcoxon, I actually rolled back to previous version 1.3.8 so the 2 columns are showing up and loading well. Will test out the update at a later date.
    Thanks for looking into it.
