No Notifications

  • Hi there,

    So I’m new to your plugin & we just realized the notifications aren’t going out either for notices or e-mails when someone posts in a group or even on their profile page.

    Can you fix that?

    Can you also tweak the plugin so that it only sends post notifications for people who are in the group?

    Hey, it seems like you may have an outdated BuddyPress extension? We require at least version 2.6.0 of that plugin. Can you confirm that’s the case?

    Sorry for the delay.

    I don’t think I got the e-mail that you responded.

    It’s the latest version & we think it was 2 weeks ago too.

    We just tested it again this time with debugging turned on, & it was empty.

    They are not passing all the required parameters that are required by BuddyPress and our plugin. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about it and they should update their code to be compatible with the latest BuddyPress.

    Hi there,

    So we updated the plugin & we tested it & the e-mails for comments on activity in profiles is coming through now, but the e-mails for new posts in groups is not.

    Your plugin just crashed my entire site.

    Not happy at all that you ignored my last message & then now this.

    Hi,

    We already removed the plugin that was causing issues. I’m using the latest version of the other plugin & your other plugin (the one that crashed my site) hasn’t been updated in 9 months. You know that right?

    I was going to discuss giving you some money (I don’t have a lot to allocate to this) to fix these plugins so I can get notifications, but it doesn’t seem like you are working on them.

    Can you let me know what trigger is not working now exactly and how do you test it? I’ll be replicating this and confirming if that’s an issue with our plugin.

    Hi,

    Well is there a paid version of this plugin that works?

    This one doesn’t work, so I’m not going to pay for something that doesn’t work, but if you can get it to work, then I can pay you something, depending on how much you want.

    I believe these are the notices your plugins are supposed to send out via e-mail & on the bell notification, right?

    If there’s more, please LMK

    1. When someone joins a group you created
    2. When anyone creates a group
    3. When any activity happens, posts, comments. Chris thinks it’s anything that would be on the activity area
    4. When user logs in
