• I’m not sure when this happened but I have no “next” button on my Nextgen slideshow/galleries anymore. There is only a “back” button so the only way to view the gallery is to press “back” and start with the last set image to the first. There is no way to move the slideshow/gallery forward, just backwards.

A few weeks ago I changed my theme to Braxton theme. Is there a conflict with NextGen? I am waiting for Braxton support to get back to me as well.

I’m trying to get to the bottom of this ASAP as this is confusing to readers. I have used chrome, safari, and IE and still no next button. Here is the example: https://lovesujeiry.com/singles/bad-texter-dos-and-donts-texting-digital-age/

    Thanks!

  • @lovesujeiry, The slideshow has no back or next buttons, but you can move forward by clicking somewhere on it. Maybe are you referring to the images when opened in the lightbox?
At the URL that you provided is not visible neither one nor the other.
To see if there is some conflict with your theme, you can activate a WordPress default theme, don’t forget to empty all caches.

I meant the image gallery. Sorry. And the URL does show the gallery. Scroll past the text. https://lovesujeiry.com/singles/bad-texter-dos-and-donts-texting-digital-age/

@lovesujeiry OK now I see it, sorry you mentioned slideshow and gallery and I hadn’t noticed that you have an image-browser display type in that page.
You can check if it is an issue with your current theme or another plugin by temporarily switching to a default WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivating all plugins.

@lovesujeiry – As @tizz suggested (thanks!) it could be an issue with your current theme … I can see the code for the “Next” navigation button on the page but your theme also has several definitions for the .next class which may be causing it to not display (currently it is located near the top right corner of the images and is not visible).
