• Hi,

since a couple of days I (admin) and my customers doesn’t get any New order mails anymore. I am using mailjet as mail provider, and there is no error there i checked. Also when I cancel an order the cancellation mail’s are being send (made some test orders to check).
In the email settings from woocommerce there are also no changes being made.

does anyone has the same issues, or can give me a tip?

    thanks

  • @sydios, quite possibly.

@gracepl on the other hand found the opposite, all the email including new order show in her log.

@sydios, after examine the Postman SMTP logs from @gracepl, I noticed that Woocommerce does not set a From address in the email. That is most likely causing the emails to be rejected at the receiving end. Are you having the same problem?

Hey @sydios, I thought it was the latest update of WooCommerce too, because it was a very sudden change – one moment the emails were coming through fine, and then they just stopped sending.

But I was able to fix it with Postman SMTP. Are you sure that you entered in your SMTP email details correctly? Does the test email send ok?

One thing I did find was that once I installed Postman SMTP all order emails were working apart from one which was actually going straight to my spam. I had to log in to my Gmail account to discover that. This was something to do with our server not having a SPF record set.

@gracepl yes i checked everthing related to SMTP. The strange thing is that some mails are being send e.g. when someone cancel an order, or when i delete an test orden in the backend woocoomerce sends a mail. Or when i use the prepaid bank option also. Only when users pay with stripe, paypal or amazon no mail is send out.

    thanks

Hmm maybe it’s a different problem to mine. Is your theme/child theme overriding any of WooCommerce’s functions? Maybe specific email template overrides for Amazon, Paypal, etc? Have you tried switching to a default (like twenty fifteen) WordPress theme to check if emails send through another theme?
