I am working on a client site that does not need to display any content inside the 4 footer widget areas. These areas are still loaded on the front-end which leaves an ampty space inside each of them(they have a margin-bottom of 30px each).

Please consider adjusting this in the next update.

    Sincerely,
    Sam

  • Hi,

If you want to completely disable the footer widget area, please go to Appearance > Customize > Footer widgets, and uncheck the “ENABLE FOOTER WIDGETS” option.
