  • Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Manage Locations, and verify that there is a menu assigned to “Top Menu”.

https://beautycurls.nl/ has the same problem, I was just looking at it and there are no Menu Locations visible in the dashboard. I already tried reinstalling Adelle and reinstalling WordPress.

    See screenshot here

@design 311: Would you mind providing a rough English translation of the first message on your screenshot (the message that begins “Wijzig je menu”)? I think I know what your problem is, but I need to know the error message to be certain.

Sorry to disappoint you, it’s not an error message it says: “change your menu below or create a new one here”

That is disappointing. Do you have a button labeled “Save Menu” (“Menu opslaan”) on that screen? Can you provide a rough English translation of the message that appears below “Menustructuur” (the one that begins “Pas je standaard menu aan”)?

If there was an error message I would have translated it and included it in your original post. There is no error message on the page.

Do you have a button labeled “Save Menu” (“Menu opslaan”) on that page? I noticed you appear to be missing the dropdown box labeled “Select a menu to edit:” (not sure what the Dutch translation would be).

There is only one menu added to the website, which is why there’s no option to select a different one.

The dropdown you are talking about is replaced with the message I translated earlier for you: “change your menu below or create a new one here”
Once you create a new menu, the dropdown will appear so you can select a menu

If you temporarily switch to the default Twenty Fifteen theme, does the “Manage Locations” tab return? If you temporarily disable all plugins, does the “Manage Locations” tab return?

Yes, as soon as I switch themes this option appears again.

I don’t think this is a plugin error but just to let you know, these plugins are installed:

    Google Analytics
    Instagram image gallery

    Thanks to both of you!
The first answer worked quite well!
I was off for a short time, so that i could not answer!

    Help PLEASE!

My menu options have totally disappeared for my site on my iphone!!!! It was there and not it is not! I have searched the support topics for assistance to no avail! The menu works fine on my desktop!

    My site is https://www.littlemissdexterous.com/

THIS IS BAD!!!! I appreciate any help! Thanks!

The Adelle theme normally loads a script at wp-content/themes/adells/js/tinynav.min.js that switches the menu to a dropdown box on mobile devices, but on your site, that script isn’t being loaded. Does that script exist? Have you modified any of the theme files?

First, THANK you for your reply…..

I am a newbie and only understand some of what you wrote…
Where would i look to see if that script exists?

I don’t think i have modified anything….. I did add google analytics code to the footer, but nothing to the header.

The menu works FINE on my desktop, and my ipad. NOTHING on my iphone though!
I spoke to someone at blue host and they suggested I delete the cookies from my phone. I did. No change.

Then they looked into the plugins i had and said that they all were updated and fine. They suggested i deactivate each one individually and see if the menu on my phone worked. No change.
    THANKKKKKK YOU!
