• Hi there, I’ve looked around on the forums for a bit, but haven’t been able to find anybody with the same issue that I’m having….

I have two domains with wordpress that I just set up.
    gatewaylv.org and gatewaylv.net

I used Fantastico to install through cpanel. They are both hosted at justhost.com.

If you look at the sites, you can see that no images are displayed. The only images that are displayed are retrieved from a different host.

I downloaded the WP2.9.2 from www.remarpro.com and changed out all of the files in the wp-admin and wp-includes folders, but this didn’t make a difference at all. After that I did it again using all of the files from WP2.8 but again, this made no difference…..

    any suggestions?

    Thanks a bunch!
    Chase

    Hi!
I had the same problem as well. all of a sudden my images from my blog went missing.

I think I’ve found one way to fix the problem.
When you insert an image in your post, make sure to link the image to the post, instead of to the file or attachment. (Don’t really remember the choices names, but link it to the post!)

It may take a while, pending on how many images you have, but it sure is worth it!

Before I did this, I tried to upload all of the images once again, and re-link them to the post, but that didn’t work. You have to manually re-edit the post, and link the image from within the post.

    Good luck!

Hey there, thanks for the reply!

what happened with yours sounds a little different than whats going on with me.

I have a fresh install, but no images are displaying. Not even the wordpress logo on my login page… its as if WP can find my images folder…. I checked all of the permissions on the folders and files, but still nothing. =/

    Thanks again!

    Oh, sorry!
Forgot to check in here to see if I got any answers.
Hmm… if all the images are missing, there must be another problem. Have you tried emptying all the cache? Perhaps there’s a problem with your host. I’ve known for a fact that hosts can sometimes remove images from your website, but I don’t know why.

Perhaps you have an adblocker in your web browser. Well, don’t know how to solve it, but I hope you’ll solve it =)
