• This plugin has good potential. Recommended plugins are actually relevant, too, for people who want WP to behave properly. And it’s good to see a plugin author considering performance.

    However there are legitimate use cases for multisite, so passing sweeping judgment calls on business and engineering problems doesn’t help. Because there’s no multisite, unfortunately, I can’t use the plugin.

    I’d also be interested if it’s possible that the plugin could be “run once”: if the database could be permanently corrected or WP patched to reduce the total amount of plugins running concurrently. This would improve performance and reduce attack surface area.
