No multipart/alternative ?

    I love the approach this plugin takes, of using template configuration as a build-up to a template file that can be exported and further customized.

    I was sad however when I sent myself my first test email and saw it was text/html only, no multipart/alternative.

    I realize nearly everyone has HTML email but we need to support the edge use-cases…

    Is this anywhere on your roadmap? Or not important enough?

    There’s no wrong answer, I’m just asking what your plans are…

  • It is not planned to add this. I think it would be too hard to maintain because I try to support emails of as many plugins as possible. Some of them send just text, some let you decide between text and html, but most of them do not send both, so I’d have to generate the plain text version automatically by stripping off the html tags and that would be awful…
