    Hello again,

Shariff Wrapper version 3.3 now includes OpenShareCount.com as an alternative solution. Please read this post first though: https://www.jplambeck.de/twitter-saveoursharecounts/

    Hi, JP.

Can I offer newsharecounts.com as another option to get Twitter share counts? It has some unique features and your users might benefit from such an option.

    Thank you!

    Hi Artur,

thank you for suggesting. The only difference I can see so far is that they require less rights from your Twitter account. That is a good thing. Are you in any way associated with newsharecounts.com? What I am missing is, who actually runs that site. The domain just got anonymously registered and has no information whatsoever about the people behind it. On a closer look, I can see that the site is hosted on servers by the German provider Hetzner. So I guess it is a German based company or individual person, but I would like to know more about the background before adding it to our plugin.

    Hi, JP.

    There are more diffs actually:
    1. Lots of historic data – not all pages will start from zero.
    2. Up to 1K sites to track on one Twitter account.
    3. Faster share count updates.

I run this service, happy to answer any questions, brugeman.artur at gmail.com.

    Thanks!

    Hi JP,
