No more Tiled Gallery + Json error ?

    I have the latest WordPress with the latest Jetpack 4.8, but since that version, I have no Tiled Gallery option anymore ?? !

    I tried to enable Photon, but I can’t Tiled Gallery…

    Also, when I’m tried to activate something in jetpack on my blog, I have an Json Error :
    Error updating settings. SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0
     (red bubble).

    Network inspector giving me that error :
    400 : https://otaku****.fr/wp-json/jetpack/v4/settings
    with that response :
    Bad Request

    Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
    Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

    I really don’t know what’s going on ?? I tried to come back to 4.7.1, but I have the same error. It’s weird :/

    Hi Jeremy (I know you will read this).

    The problem came from my server. LimitRequestFieldSize was at 512 and it’s not enough for the new headers of 4.8 (8190 is better in httpd.conf).

    Now for the tiled galery, there is no option in Jetpack or in wp-admin/options-media.php page ? Is it just… Gone ?

    Tiled Gallery are working back. I just desactivated and reactivated Photon and the option appears :/ Sorry for the convenience, have a nice day Jeremy <3 ?? !

    It looks like you figured all this out on your own. ?? I’m glad to hear you’re all set.

    We’ve indeed tied the Tiled Gallery feature to Photon in this release, as Tiled Galleries rely on the Photon module to create the tiled effect. When you activate the Photon option, tiled galleries will be available when you create new galleries.

    The problem came from my server. LimitRequestFieldSize was at 512 and it’s not enough for the new headers of 4.8 (8190 is better in httpd.conf).

    Yeah ?? ! Thank you for your answer. In fact, it’s just because, as you said, Tiled Gallery is tied to Photon now ?? !

    It would help if you could let me know your site URL there, as well as a list of all other plugins active on the site.

    Could you also try the following:

    1. Open the dashboard page.
    2. Open your browser console
    3. Click on the Network tab
    4. Refresh the page.
    5. Try to activate a module.
    6. If you see any lines in red inside the browser console, click on them. A new panel should appear on the right.
    7. Click on the “Response” tab in that new panel.
    8. Copy the message displayed there.
    9. Paste it here.
    10. If no red lines appeared in the browser console, click on the “Console” tab of the browser console.
    11. Copy any errors displayed there, and paste them in the new thread you’ll create.
