website stats disappeared after staging

hi. we’ve been using the plugin for YEARS (4 to be exact) and we recently upgraded our hosting. our new hosting allows us to create a staging site which we did. we received a notice that there was a duplicate set up on our staging/development site.

after we disabled the staging site and disconnected the stats we went back into the main site to reactivate the plugin.

But for some reason instead of giving us the base stats (4 years worth), it’s showing we have 0 (maybe from the staging)

we tried disconnecting/connecting the plugin and even went as far a deleting it to trying to reconfigure it but every time we do, it still shows us either 0 or way fewer views than we had on our main site. can you please assist me with getting jetpack to display our original site views?
