• Hi!

I have a big problem after I have upgraded to WordPress 2.7.1 version: all my created pages have gone. They no longer appear into the column from the home page of my blog. Also, Dashboard is reporting to me that I have 0 pages.

I have tried to upgrade using the both methods, automatically and by FTP as well, but the result is the same.

I have to mention that I have created a whole page hierarchy that now is missing. All pages are now transformed into posts. They still have the same address type as any page has (www.mysite.com/?p=xyz), but they are no longer listed among “pages” section, but to “posts”! How can I go back to my old page structure?

    Thank you!

  • did you back up your database before you upgraded? if so you may want to revert back to the previous installation

Unfortunatelly, I didn’t back up the database. Is it there any solution to fix my problem? Or is it any solution to manually turn this posts back into pages?

try running a repair on the database tables with phpmyadmin
    then
delete .htaccess file in wordpress root
    regenerate permalinks
    admin – settings – permalinks

I have already deleated “.htacces” file
I have already changed permalinks… and turned them back
I only don’t know how to repair on the database table with phpmyadmin

did that, repaired the database and still nothing – no pages nor posts displayed although they are happliy sitting in the database- even more annoying is that I have Darrell Schulte’s event calendar running and when I hover over a date – guess what I see the post! So something is not pointing to the right place – any ideas?
