Thanks for your feedback @habakuk. We are sorry to hear your opinion.

Instagram no longer supports social media tools for Instagram Personal Profile accounts, just for Instagram Business accounts.

We are sorry for the very short notice and the inconvenience, but we only just received this information. However, we will do anything to help you continue using Blog2Social for Instagram.

Ich habe es auch umgestellt, und ich bekomme immer wieder gesagt, es ist nicht verbunden auch wenn ich Blog2social mit Instagram verbunden habe.

It is no problem (for me) to switch the Instagram account to a business account.

But in its free version Blog2Social does not support Instagram business account.

So @blog2socialsupport if you want to do “anything to help me continue using Blog2Social for Instagram” you could switch the connection to Instagram business accounts to the free version.

    Hallo @eggi1972,

    Vielen Dank!

This response doesn’t make sense, as I have a “professional” account already that was working fine with Blog2Social, but now you are requiring the paid version. As I said in my review, a) the plugin is buggy, b) now you are requiring the paid version for Instagram, and c) the annual price for this plugin is way too much for what it does and how buggy it is. This has nothing to do with Instagram changing its support, but everything with Blog2Social changing it’s support for “professional” accounts. Nice finessing of terms used to cover your change. Just say “we no longer support free Instagram support for those of you who were successfully using the plugin with professional accounts”.

I agree with OP Habakuk. We can change the IG account into a professional account no problem but then still your plugin doesn’t support it unless we start paying. It sounds a little like hiding behind Instagram.
