no more images??

  • Hello, I use your extension for images sitemap and with last version, if I leave unchecked the options (posts, pages…) as I?use another plugin for this, the imbges sitemap is empty. So there is no more images sitemap?

    Any reason you have not selected Pages and Posts. Please check both and generate the sitemap.

    Only images from post type you have selected are read. So if you select post and page then it will create normal XML sitemap and image sitemap for all pages and posts.

    The change was made to help users eliminate using extra sitemap plugin for normal XML sitemap.

    Well, I?use Google XML Sitemap plugin for regular sitemap and it’s got more features, so…

    You can try using only my plugin and see how it works (use Google Search Console sitemap section to figure out impact).

    In case you are not comfortable leaving the other plugin (which is tough as it is very good plugin and is around for long time) you can use previous version of my plugin.

    Right now I am not planning to split the post type selection for normal sitemap and image sitemap separately as that may confuse many but will see what sitemap users say
