    Hello,

No more feeds in the free version and since we can’t leave the tweets area empty, I have to uninstall Twitter Feeds from all my websites.
Too bad, this solution worked well despite some small formatting bugs.

    Thanks

    Hey @mengeco,

Thank you for reaching out. Of course, it makes sense to remove the feeds here in the current state. As mentioned in other threads, we will release an update to the plugin in early June which will allow standard functionality in the plugin. For details please see our documentation here and let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Many thanks,

I think it’s a bad move by the developer to push users towards the pro formula which works perfectly.
I think it’s a bad strategy because on my side, I convinced my customers, who were not happy to see the empty tweet content, that it was not essential and I uninstalled the plugin on all my sites.

    Hey @mengeco,

Apologies for the confusion. Taking the plugin down and back up again would be an entirely different process and might confuse users further. The latest version of the plugin should have a notice about the upcoming changes and that the current version doesn’t work.

We are not pushing users to a Pro solution to our own benefit – the Free version is taking more time due to new authentication measures that we are developing, while this is already built into the Pro version. As such we inform users of the availability of the Pro version rather than wanting users to feel forced to do so.

Thank you for the feedback and hope you find a solution that works for now, and you are welcome back when the plugin is up and running again.

    Thanks!
