I am sailing in the same boat with monnomestrouge as above.

The “crime” I committed was trying to link my working-in-progress site https://s514230776.online.de/ to domain https://julianalunguzi.com

Apparently, I had some degree of success – but this is exactly what is now haunting me. https://julianalunguzi.com is now there for the world to see, BUT I badly need to get it working or else this will be a huge a embarassment.

I can, as we speak, do nothing, cant access this or the working site to rectify whatever needs correcting. And yet, the home page, crooked now and lifeless is staring at me.

And then here is the best part: my host is 1und1.de – and while I understand street Deutsch, all my (lay man’s) computer /IT knowledge is in English. And yes, I am a layman with respect to all these jargons: FTP, PHP etc.

Therefore, support from 1und1.de assuming they are trying, will only make things worse. In fact, the language issue is exactly why I messed up.

Any help out there? (my email is [email address moderated – these forums do not provide support via email] – and I will be up for the better part of the night, even willing to SKYPE to sort this mess.

I am unable to fix this as I am not firm enough with the explinations….
I do not have a lot of computer knowledge, I am german, all explinations are in english and my hosts page 1&1 is in french ??
Isn’t there a step by step explination, which page to open first and so on???
