    1. Lack of mobile theme caching – I use Newspaper 9.6 theme with its mobile theme plugin and I am facing big issues now. Sometimes Desktop version shows on mobile devices and mobile version shows on Desktop/Laptop computers. Its a painful experience since SG Optimizer does not have a feature to cache mobile theme.

    2. Lazy Load is incompatible with Instant Articles for WP – Instant Articles for WP is my only way of monetization as Adsense does not even make Lincoln a day. So I have to disable Lazy Load. But its not that bad since my theme has built-in Lazy Load feature.

    3. Very bad result on Page Speed Insight – I score just 41 on mobile even after enabling all the settings in Supercacher Settings, Environment Optimization and Frontend Optimization. I also optimized all my images. I’ve only 60 articles on my website. I am on GrowBik plan, I have more than enough resources on my cPanel account.

Edited: Hristo from SiteGround helped me fix the first issue FOC. He is awesome! I am very grateful to him.

Lazy Load incompatibility with Instant Articles for WP is not a problem as my theme has built-in one which is compatible.

My site loads a lot faster on mobile since it does not show Desktop version on mobile devices anymore.

So I changed my initial 2-star to 5-star.

I’ve used many other hosting companies before, and I still use some of them. None of them come close to SiteGround customer support. They respond quickly and fixed anything within their service.

I use 3 plugins (W3TC or paid WPFC, Autoptimize and paid ShortPixel) just for speeding my sites on other hosts. But, SiteGround has this plugin for free and it has all the essential features including image optimization. I love it.

    1. If you add a simple vary header that will be fixed. Actually, that’s theme’s fault but I don’t really want to go there.

    2. We have filters to exclude plugins that do not work well with Lazy Loading from it completely.

    3. Something’s kinda wrong with your website.

If you give me your URL I would love to take a look and configure things properly for you ??

    Hi sir,

Thank you very much for quick response with such a nice offer to help. Here is my website https://www.theihtlei.com.

How can I give you my login credentials?

Actually I really like SiteGround, but these 3 things haunt me so bad. I will change my review once they are fixed.

Once again, thank you very much.

So, fixed number one with the appropriate header. As to Lazy Load – since your theme has it – keep it off. Duplicating functionality is generally bad and leads to worse results.

As to your PageSpeed ranking, you’re using CloudFalre and I think most of the issues reported come from that. Although I load it super fast on my end, I am not sure the checker gives proper resutls…
