no meta description, why?

  • HI team,

    I just installed your theme to test it and I notice that the sample page does not contain a meta description. Why?
    Is there a trick in the settings? Because I can’t find anything, not even in the page edit module.

    You can install a good SEO plugin for that, like Rank Math or Yoast SEO.
    They will provide the option to enter meta descriptions and more.

    Hi @logologics,

    I know Rank Math and other such plugins. I’m just very surprised that you have to install one more plugin by choosing such this popular theme for a simple META tag (and not the least because it is essential) while the theme handles a lot of others like social networks.

    To finish with my misunderstanding, this is an option that could be very easily proposed by integrating it in the options panel that appears at the bottom of each edit page, for example.

    Anyway, I don’t want to install a full plugin for a single META tag so I’ll code it myself via the child theme.

    You can go for that option as well, if you prefer to manually add it.

    Using a plugin like Rank Math, enables so much more though, I use it for years. Anyway, good luck and have a great day!
