Hm, I created a test user which does show in the second search form. My live user does not for some reason. Hes my first user of his type. I activated him manually (as opposed to him clicking email link).

    Hi Steve,

If you are using the Order By: Last Active selection in your Members Directory you won’t find all users. To find them all try using Order By: Alphabetical.

Thanks Andrea. Ive tried that too. He did not activate his account through clicking the email sent after registration. I manually activated him.

I created a test user with a legit email and 1 with a fake one. Even though I activated the user with the fake email, he does not show up in the search results. The user I created with a legit email does show up. Does it make sense that that would be the case?

    Hi Steve,

Try deactivating BP Profile Search and make sure you can see all your users in the Members Directory, possibly using Order By: Alphabetical.

If a user is now missing from your Members Directory, that’s a general BuddyPress issue, and probably I won’t be able to help you out.

If, on the other hand, you can see all your users in the Members Directory but BP Profile Search does not find one of them, then I’ll be glad to debug the issue with you.

    Please let me know!

Yeah, he is still missing from the directory after I deactivate BP Profile Search. The only thing I can gather is that my users arent visible until they activate their account via the registration email link, even if i manually activate them. Thanks for your help.

You are welcome! I’m marking this as solved now.
