No Media Files: Windows -> Linux Migration

  • It looks like the path names for the media files need to be translated (or something) when moving across different platforms.

    When exporting from a Windows machine, the media filenames in the exported zip file look like this (all in the root directory):

    media\year\month\name_of_file1.jpg
media\year\month\name_of_file2.jpg

    As a result, they aren’t imported on a the destination (Linux) machine. My guess is that when the files are unzipped, the proper paths aren’t being translated as such:

    media/
    year/
        month/
            name_of_file1.jpg
            name_of_file2.jpg
