No maximum word/character counter in text fields

I see a word counter in the bio section and text box areas of the profile, but I have a questionnaire tab with many more fields and none of them seem to have word or character counters, even though I have set maximum limits. The problem is that a user doesn’t know if they have exceeded the limit until after they tried to save the form and see the error. Is there a way to add word/character counters for all fields that have limits?
