No matching service worker detected

  • Hi,

    I have installed the SuperPWA plugin. The manifest and service worker are correctly generated. However I get the error “No matching service worker detected”.

    This might be some cache issue, because manifest file is printed in html and detected by browser. But service worker not found in html Source.
    So our suggestion is clear your server side cache, and make sure in html source “superpwa-sw” name of JavaScript file is print.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply. I cleared the cache but the issue remains. I don’t see any reference to the service worker in the HTML.
    Could this be a conflict with some other plugin?
    I’m using Autoptimize for CSS, JS minification – aggregation.
    The site is also behind Cloudflare CDN. Could this be interfering somehow?
