No Manage Options Tab in "Settings"

    Somehow I don’t have a Manage Options tab on my Directory plugin. It just has one page of settings that includes:

    Directory Settings
    Display “Submit Listing” Button Yes No
    Display “Login” Button Yes No
    Display “Google Maps” Map Yes No
    Default Directory View Listings Categories
    Directory Title
    Welcome Message Welcome to the Idylwood Neighborhood Directory. As a registered member of Idylwood.org, you can contribute to the directory by adding your own listing.
    Directory Label
    Additional Information Sections
    Allow User Categorization

    On the WordPress dashboard, on the side, I have the following “options”:
    Directory Listings
    Directory Categories
    Add Listing
    Edit Listing
    Settings

    And Settings has just the one page, which I posted before. There is mo Manage Options or anything similar here. Do I need to purchase a premium version of this plugin to get those options?

    Hi Joni,

    Sounds like you may not have the Business Directory Plugin installed. Our plugin installs two main items on the sidebar: Directory and Directory Admin. The options you mention above don’t appear to be BD settings. We don’t even have a “welcome message”.

    What does your Plugin dashboard say for the installed plugin name? Is it “Business Directory Plugin” by D. Rodenbaugh? If not, you’ll need to contact them for support or you can install ours (which is easy to use!) and we’d be happy to help.

    Ah. I Googled for “Business Directory plugin” and found this forum. No wonder it didn’t make a lick of sense that your documentation didn’t match what I had! And the shortcodes are eerily similar. Yours is [businessdirectory] and the one I am using (LDD Business Directory) is [business_directory]. Well, if I cannot get the items to display the way I want, I will definitely switch! I poked around on your site and your plugin looks to be more robust than the one I’m using anyway. Thanks for replying and setting me straight!
