Very useful plugin. I have two suggestions:

    1. Currently the plugin also sends emails for all of my disabled plugins. It would be nice if you would only send notifications for enabled plugins.

    2. The email reminders contain a link to https://MYSITE/wp-admin/plugins.php even though I always manage my wordpress using https. It would be nice if this would be a https link so that you don’t accidentially submit your login credentials through an unsecured connection.

    Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for your feedback.

    To 1.)
You can filter your plugins in the plugin settings according to your needs.

    To 2.)
The Plugin retrieves the WordPress variable site_url() for generating the link to update your plugins. If this is a http link, please check you WordPress configuration.

1.) I activated “Don’t validate inactive plugins” but inactive plugins are still listed in the list of validated plugins e.g.
    [x] W3 Total Cache (inaktiv)
and I also receive notifications for inactive plugins.

2.) Thanks, I changed the WP URL. I’ll wait for the next update notificiation to check the updated URLs (maybe it would be a good idea to add a “Send Test Mail” button which generates a dummy email notification which also allows to test whether sending mails from the plugin to the specified email address works in general?!)

To 1.) Did you activate the “Blacklist” or “Whitelist”? You need to tick either of those and not just “do not check invalid plugins”. You will be informed on inactive plugins, only when updates for active plugins are avilable.

Ah I didnt’t assume that I also have to tick “Blacklist” or “Whitelist”. “do not check invalid plugins” sounds as if it’s a standalone option.

But all right, it works now. Thanks! ??
