I’m using the uCare – Support Ticketing plugin and there is a sidebar that never loads when WordFence is active. It is a query string that is returning a 500 error. Firewall is disabled and it still returns 500. I’ve added the support_ticket_sidebar as a whitelisted param but it is still getting blocked.

    Here is the url:

    wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?id=70774&action=support_ticket_sidebar&_ajax_nonce=d23b910922

As soon as I disable WordFence it works.

I can’t whitelist the id or _ajax_nonce params since they are dynamic.

    Any help here?

Hi @billyudi, thanks for reaching out to us.

There is a chance, even with dynamic patterns, that Learning Mode could force support_ticket_sidebar to be accepted as Wordfence can decide for itself how it’s recognized in future as an allowed action.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

Let me know how you get on!

    Peter.
