    I’m trying to style month & day differently. I set date to “custom” (or “Custom php” – neither method works any differently for me), then on the post code tried:

    ==================================================

    [title]<p>

    <div>[start-date format=”D”]</div> <div>[start-date format=”d”]</div>

    <span class=”day”>[start-custom=”F”]</span>
    <span class=”month”>[start-custom=”j”]</span>
    <span class=”year”>[start-custom=”Y”]</span>

    ==================================================

    since old documentation suggest that [start-custom=””] should work and the new documentation suggests that [start-date format=””] should work.

    But the format ignores me no matter what I do.

    Test page is here.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    I saw in another thread, where someone said that if you create a calendar page with a single calendar feed, you cannot later edit that calendar page and set it to a “Grouped” calendar? Is that correct?

    I don’t believe that is true.

    Try going into your Grouped Calendar and changing the timezone setting to use “Site Default” instead of event source.

    Thank you, Nick. I’m traveling this week but will try that when I’m home again.

    Apologies — much water under the dam after traveling and I never got back to you. I removed the google holidays calendar from the grouped calendar as it never seemed to work right, always had those duplicate entries.

    I did try changing the timezone on the grouped calendar to “site default”.

    I tried the google holidays calendar again as part of a grouped calendar. Still duplicates all over. I finally found a way to add an alternate holiday calendar directly as an ics file in to the main calendar I wanted to use.

    In looking around the web, duplicate google calendar entries seems common and related to syncing. Beyond my capabilities right now to track down.

    So is it just happening when you have the Holiday calendar added in the mix?

    Hello,

    I am going to assume this has been resolved since there has not been a reply here. If you continue to have issues please let us know and we will be glad to continue with helping.

    Thanks!

    Sorry, was gone all last week and very tied up the 3 weeks prior to that.

    So far as I can tell it’s only a problem with the Google Holiday Calendar. I may just add the holidays I want by hand, then use an individual vs. grouped calendar. From browsing the web, it appears this is a common problem with the google holiday calendar. I have no idea why.
