Hi, after the latest update, the flexible shipping plugin isn’t working with the GEO locate feature of WooCommerce, as it is not identifying the state the visitor is from until they log in as a returning customer or enter their address as a new one.

Shipping options are now missing on the cart page and it states that Shipping costs are calculated during checkout. At check-out it says “Customer matched zone Locations not covered by your other zones” until they fill in their address details.

Yes, both “Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page” and “Hide shipping costs until an address is entered” are unchecked in WooCommerce shipping options settings.

I tried to replicate this issue, but I need to admit that I didn’t experience this problem.

Hi @martapaw and thank you for your quick response.
The only difference is we use “GEO Locate with caching support” as our site uses a caching plugin.

When we change this to shop base address, your plugin works again.

I checked and this works for me as well:

Our plugin doesn’t have an impact on this function, this is strictly a WooCommerce feature. So, I suggest you contact them to solve this issue.

Thanks for checking. It must be a compatibility issue between the caching plugin and either flexible shipping or WooCommerce. If my client allows, I will disable that and see what happens.
