• Hi,

This plugin used to work just fine, but no longer.
Please let us know if you (the developer) are willing to update and maintain this lovely plugin?

    Thanks,
    Annie

Hi Annie. We have contacted Kasper and have asked for an updated copy of his plugin for our community add-on directory and once that is received, we will review the request for his creator license. I recommend contacting Kasper again in a couple days for an update. Thanks

@abdultikweb I hope everything went well with your dev license. Can you give us a hint when you will fix the bug? Thank you!

    Hi Tikweb WP support,

Any news on the update please?
Have they given you a new license now?

    Hi,

I know, I already contacted and received answers for Gravity support and the developer first week in February. They were in contact and I even provided my own premium plugin to the developer. Such a shame this is a very useful plugin.

We can not demand anything, as it is a free plugin, but both Gravity as the developer told me they want to make this update happen, so I wonder why this is still not done.

Gravity Forms required us to fill some forms, and upload the (broken) plugin to their site.

We have now done this, and status is still the same – we are waiting for access to the Gravity Forms plugin from them.

    Hi Tikweb,

Thanks for letting us know the status.
When did you send it to them and how, I will contact them too, maybe that might speed up things a bit?

    Hi Tikweb,

I just got good news from Gravity Forms priority support.
They say that you do not even have to buy or get a license, to be able to test your plugin.

They provide a free demo site, all their premium plugins are already installed and always the most recent ones. You will be able to upload your own plugin/update and test the updates.

This is the link where you can create that demo for free:
    https://www.gravityforms.com/demo/

This should get rid of the issue right?

Sorry, but we don’t want to have to request demos when needing to change code.

It seems to us that Gravity Forms do not want to support the continued development of the Gravity Forms addon, and since this is a free plugin/addon, we will no longer maintain the plugin.

We have asked Gravity Forms if they want to continue the maintenance of the plugin.

If anyone else want to continue the development of this plugin/addon, you are most welcome.

Oh, no? I contacted their support, and they do want to support it and have free options for you to test new updates. You do not have to “request” a demo, you can just go to https://www.gravityforms.com/demo/ and start that demo.

If they did not want to support your plugin, they would remove it from their website, and it is still there: https://www.gravityforms.com/community/mailpoet-3-integration/

Of course, if for some other reason, you no longer want to support this useful free plugin, you have no obligation whatsoever.

Until now, you said you did want to maintain it, but you could not, because of Gravity Forms not providing you a free license or a free option to test their latest versions.
It is clear to me they do want that add-on to be maintained.

It would be nice to have that clear once and for all for us thankful users that wait to get it updated?

@logologics To develope the add-on you need the code of the parent plugin (Gravity Forms). Its not enough to use the demo site. ??

    @matthiaspabst,

    Oh, yes that is true!

What a strange communication of Gravity Forms to say he can test it with a demo, while they must know he needs their code to built his add-on around it.

I did not think of that.
Too bad, this is such a useful add-on.
