    Glad it worked

    On
    – Webpack 5.7.2
    – Elementor v3.2.4
    – Visibility Logic for Elementor 2.1.0

    Sections still not disappearing.

@privateeccles Please update to latest version 2.1.1 and you can rerun the settings migration by accessing your admin area with this parameter in link:
    /wp-admin/?stax-v-update-20

so it should look like this:
    example.com/wp-admin/?stax-v-update-20

Let me know if then the settings are fine.

Upgraded, sections still not disappearing. Individual widgets will still appear and disappear.

The /wp-admin/?stax-v-update-20 link took me back to the dashboard. Was it supposed to take me to another page where I saw a progress bar or something?

Are you seeing the same error on your end?

Our site also has the DynamicConditions plugin. Is there any potential for conflict?

@privateeccles it is ok if you don’t get a notice, it forces under the hood to do the migration. Can you export that page and put the json on pastebin.com so we can do more tests? On our end the sections are being taken care of too.

    Thanks for your time

I’m sorry, can you send me a link to a page explaining how to export a page from wordpress/elementor as json? I’ve not done it before.

@privateeccles maybe try deactivating the other plugin just to test. Also you can check if the section visibility settings appear fine on a section inside Elementor

Deactivated and removed the DynamicConditions plugin. Sections still not disappearing.

Can you please check if the Section Visibility Settings appear fine on a section inside Elementor? Edit a page and go to the settings of a section inside elementor to see if the settings are ok. Thanks

@privateeccles yes it looks good! Check also the User section and see what role or setting you have there.

To test, what I do is switch to a different user with different non-admin rolls. Once again, individual widgets can be disabled, however sections can not.

Here is an image of what it looks like when logged in as that user. Their role should only allow them to see the ‘CpExtra: Quick Start’ course. As a work around, I’ve added the role requirements to each individual widget in the section, so they disappear. However, as you can see, the section’s background remains.

Throughout all the testing, this behaviour has remained the same.
