No longer updating stock price (reads all zeros)

    Plug-in was working great, though now notice that the price retrieved is all zeros.

    Tried to refresh, by forcing a data fetch, but that doesn’t seem to work. I’m not sure if there are an errors here. When I click on Fetch Stock Data Now!, I don’t get errors, rather I get a [OK] result. Seems it worked, but then it continues to output [OK] again and again on subsequent lines as if in some constant loop. I clicked on Save Changes anyhow to test, but the stock price on the webpage didn’t update or correct.

    Appreciate any guidance.

    Hi @kevintreedgmailcom,

    Can you please enable debugging in wp-config.php and after couple minutes provide content of wp-content/stockquote.log through form on https://urosevic.net/c/

    Also, please advise does your website have large number of visits?

    Hi Aleksandar,

    Unfortunately, I have transferred control to my client and don’t have ready access to make changes to the wp-config.php file with our hosting service provider. If this is the only means of diagnosing and fixing, then I can have the client reach out. Not sure if they will just swap out the plug-in though.

    Ideally, hoping for any quick troubleshooting you might suggest to try out first.

    On visits, no, this site gets minimal visits.

    Hi Kevin,

    As a starting point, could you upgrade plugin to development version from github https://github.com/urosevic/stock-quote/tree/develop (includes only fix for stuck skipping issue), so we see does that resolve problem?

    Thanks, Aleksandar. How to I install from the github link? What specifically do I download or is it the entire set of files? Once downloaded how to I update? I know how to manually upload a plugin, but not sure whether it will automatically update the existing version.

    TO be easier, I released new version of plugin v0.2.0.4 with this fix. Please update plugin in WordPress and check does quote update after that.
