Since the plugin does not seem to be working with PHP 7.2 and the last revision claims to fix an error with 7.2 support, I think it’s safe to say that this is no longer supported.

    Anybody?

  • It sucks because that one guy was all ready to take it over and made a fix but then the creators jumped in claiming they were back, but now it’s back to the way it was before.

Makes no sense that they jumped in when someone offered to fix it but the didn’t want to let that happen for some reason.

That”s how people ruin their reputation.
I see that ManageWP is now owned by GoDaddy.
    What a pity.

Seriously? Wow, I now who I won’t be choosing when I need a new hosting service then!

    does anyone have an alternative?

Oddly enough, there aren’t really any that match what this one did. This one was perfect as it was set and forget aside from checking the broken links it found.

Still hoping that someone will pick it up again. Just had a look at the ManageWP support thread, they seem to be up-to-date with their plugin support.

    Hi folks,

There has been a bit of activity on our fork repo which does cover some of the issues people are still having such as the misnamed database table issue. Give a try and download here (use green button): https://github.com/hongpong/broken-link-checker

Note this is not fully packaged as a forked plugin but I did update the readme a bit to clarify.

I don’t have the capacity for full blown maintenance but I can at least evaluate pull requests on a week-or-two basis. Also there have been other patches around on github see the ‘network’ feature. If there are worthy ones to add post a PR and I will get to it in a reasonable time frame.

Thank you! I’m assuming this is more recent than the last one in March which was 1.11.8 update from Github.

I noticed this latest one has 1.11.7.

Thank you again for being the one to keep showing this amazing plugin attention.
