    Hello,

    this is an urgent SOS!

how can I deactivate adblock-notify without logged in? I am not able to log into the backend of WordPress.

It sees that the directory of the site is suddenly protectet by a .htacces-file. So I will be redirected to a separate login, which is created by the webserver.

    Please help me.

    With best regards

    J?rg

Just eight days ago the .htaccess was changed.

Now I have commented out this here:
    #<Files wp-login.php>
    # AuthName Admin-Bereich
    # AuthType Basic
    # AuthUserFile /home/x3qmxdbs/www.eichwalder-nachrichten.de/wordpress/stats/.htusers
    # require valid-user
    #</Files>

After that normal login works again.

Go into your cpanel (you can find the login info for it in the email from your hosting company when you first bought the hosting), go to file manager, find the folder for your website, go to wp-content, and rename “plugins” to “plugins.h”. This will disable all your plugins and allow you to log into the dashboard.

After this, rename the folder back to normal, and you will be able to turn on any plugins you want again. If you know 100% that adblock notify is causing the issue, go inside the “plugins” folder and rename ONLY the adblock notify folder.

It looks like this it has been solved.
    Thanks for sharing your solution.
