No Local Delivery

Yes i know i can use the flat rate shipping as i am using one already but it doesn’t have the option to add local delivery to choose in Shipping Method(s), it would be best if you can add local delivery in shipping methods to choose as well. As i am using free local delivery for my local customers

I too am having an issue setting up local delivery on WooCommerce 2.6.1.

* This is a brand new install since 2.6 was released, so I am not dealing with any legacy shipping options. *

I have a Shipping Zone set up called Local Zone. This Zone is limited to around 10 zip codes.
The Local Zone has a Shipping Method of Flat Fee, which I renamed to Local Delivery, and has a 5.00 cost to it.

I also created a Shipping Class called Local Delivery and have applied it to each product I want to deliver locally.

When I add a product into the cart, I get this message:
“There are no shipping methods available. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.”

There is also no 5.00 charge for the local delivery.

I don’t see anywhere else to configure anything to force the cart to add the 5.00 charge and accept the Local Delivery shipping method.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

My apologies. Although I do feel my situation is the same as the original commenter, just with a cost involved.

I won’t start a new thread just yet, got some research to do : )
