No “Load more” button in timetable view

    A client of ours is running an event calendar for the pre-X-mas season, with quite a few events around our town. We did the calendar last year also, but now the client wants the filtering option enabled since they’re targeting international visitors also.

    I’ve made a page using Elementor and the MEC Shortcode Builder for Elementor, that displays the events in a timetable view with the AJAX live filter at the top.

    A few problems have become apparent:

    1) The listing of the events has a cutoff of some sort, so the number of events displayed is typically 7 days. No more. There’s no “Load more” button available, and there’s no option to make this available in the user interface of MEC Shortcode Builder for Elementor.

    2) The AJAX live filtering does absolutely nothing when inputing start and end date for filtering. The filter is configured to be able to filter on category, location, event creator and free text, as well as the obvious date picker for start and end date. I almost seems like the date variable isn’t passed on to MEC for filtering. We had some issues initially with the date dropdown selector being unable to select dates, but this was fixed by moving the whole thing up to z-index 1.

    If anyone has any insight to share in this matter, I’d be very happy. I’ve reached out to Webnus support, and made a couple of tickets concerning these challenges, but their response time is somewhat long, and our client is impatient…

    A few more details about our setup:

    We’re running MEC Pro, of course, lateste version.
    WP itself is also updated to latest iteration, as well as Elementor Pro.

    It seems like MEC is capping the event listings off at 7 days worth of events from the current date, in the default listing.

    When using the filter, it also includes passed events, so the filter function really isn’t that helpful ??
