No links in category archives.. how to?

I installed a new theme on my blog … when I search or click on a particular post I can see everything but when I click on a section in Categories, let’s say “free stuff” the posts are not full and the links aren’t links…. I’m a serious CSS beginner, I’ve been able to figure stuff out with trial and error but can’t seem to get this… Any help would be appreciated…
