no, I dont’t have it. There are nothing from cf7 in the wp-config,

By the way, why do you select the Use HTML content type checkbox? Seemingly the message body doesn’t need HTML at all.

Same problem here. I guess the update to the newest version made the HTML content type the default value, which might be a real problem. I’ll check some of my other websites using CF7.

The HTML content type is only checked on one of my tested websites. I guess it’s luckily not a general problem.

I have deactivated the HTML checkbox and now the line breaks are correct again!

But it remains the change since version 5.8, because with the 5.7.7 everything still ran. Btw now it runs.

So, I had the very same problem, but I couldn’t switch to non-html mails (I’m using html in mails).
Setting define( 'WPCF7_AUTOP', true ); solved the problem, but it’s pretty weird – I had it set to false explicitly before, and up to 5.8.1 all linebreaks worked out as expected.
I hope AUTOP is not introducing additional problems – there probably was a reason I set it to false 8 years ago ??
@takayukister: So you definitly did change something in the parsing of the email form, right? Or is it some WordPress-change kicking in?
