no less-than-three

greetings, fellow WP:ers.

i know it may sound like a silly question, but in my journal, it does not seem possible to enter the “heart” symbol that you make by putting a left-bracket and a 3 together. it will not display it nor anything i write behind it (which is why i do not write it here until i have finished my question, hehe).

i have tried adding a few combinations of these symbols to my kses.php but to no avail.

it would be lovely if anyone could help me solve this mystery, so that me and my readers can display our warmth through silly internet jargon once more, as it has become rather habitual to use that as a term of endearment.

much gratitude for any help! and here comes the test of all tests; posting of the item in question: <3 … i am curious to see if it worked, and if it did, then equally curious to any advice on why it does not work on mine ??
