    Hi,

I’m using Activity Log on several sites. There’s always been a lot of information in the Log.

Now every site is showing “no items found”

Could this be a problem with WordPress 4.8.2?

    Thanks in advance.

  • same issue here too, in all my websites.

    Lets wait then

I’ve got a pull request over on the GitHub that fixes this, I’m just waiting on a maintainer to merge upstream.

If needed you could manually make the changes in the pull request until a maintainer releases a plugin update.

I’ve confirmed that Chris’s pull request fixes the problem – at least on 4.8.2.

For those not GitHub-savvy, I provided instructions for patching manually Here

Hopefully an official release will occur soon.

Thanks to Chris for the interim help.

No problem, I have several sites using this plugin so needed to fix it anyway. I’m glad I could help.

Hopefully, it will be merged upstream soon and users don’t have to manually apply the patch.

I am also using Loginizer plugin which I can use to block specific nuisance IPs and it will also block repeated login attempts based on my settings and report what it has blocked based on the fact that they are just re-trying different passwords using a bot.

So I can use that activity log to flag up IPs that need blocking anyway.

I can’t see legitimate logins which is a pain, but that problem is only relevant to one specific membership site (uses Simple Membership)
