No IPs, no hosts

    My hoster switched last night from Apache 2.2 to 2.4. Since then PL does not record the IPs and hosts. It shows always 127.0.0.1 localhost.

    My hoster has a setting for anonymous logging, which is turned off.
    Other plugins still see IPs/host, so I guess it’s something with Apache 2.4 and PL.
    PHP version is 5.6 (it was before the same).

    To answer my own question, and to close this case… My hoster informed me that the PHP variable REMOTE_ADDR is currently not working. As a workaround I could use HTTP_X_REAL_IP, which I did, and it works.

    As other plugins where not affected, maybe it is for PL an idea to use the same in the next update.

    Thanks for the info, I’m not sure if HTTP_X_REAL_IP is supported by all hosts, but we can look into checking for it at least.
