I have one page on my site that doesn’t show any incoming or outgoing internal links. But it is one of the site’s most popular pages, and I know there are bundles of internal links.

Any ideas on how to fix or reset this issue?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you confirm how you are adding content on the page? We ask because the Yoast SEO plugin analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, the main content box (WordPress editor).

If you are adding your content through other plugin or theme content boxes (as most page builders do), Yoast SEO for WordPress Premium might not be able to detect it by default.

Hi. I’m using all standard content tools and the classic editor on WordPress. I’m not using a page builder or any other plugins.

    Hello,

We’re sorry that Yoast SEO is not recognising your content. It should work with both the Classic Editor and Gutenberg.

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

Hi. My first move was to check for conflicts, but couldn’t find any. As it only affects one page, could it be the page itself? It’s a very heavy listing page with lots of links. I would estimate that it might also have 100 or more incoming links. Could it be just too much to handle?

I just did a check on Google Search Console and the internal links are not listed there for the page either. So I don’t think this is a Yoast issue. I’ll have to dig deeper. But thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
