No internal link using ‘Insert from URL’

    Hi All
    For posts on my website I have been adding in internal links to other similar posts by using ‘Add Media’ -> ‘Insert from URL'(or I can just copy the URL straight into the post). The reason I’m doing it this way instead of hyperlinking text is that it brings up a nice little box with an image/description etc however Yoast SEO Analysis says “No internal links appear in this page,…”.
    Is there a reason why Yoast doesn’t detect an internal link when it is added this way?

    You go to “Add Media” when you add an image, video or audio. You don’t go to “Add Media” if you’re trying to add an internal link.
