I’ve met with the same problem. I have tried ti upload my pdf three times, first entering the title and description, however without any success: “no input file or title missing”. I’ve even made PHP memory size increased, but did not helped. Any suggestions?
By the way, where an uploaded PDF files are stored?

yumpu plugin uploaded files go into the yumpu directory inside wp-content/uploads folder.

File upload checkpoints:
1. Enter title and description while uploading pdf.
2. Change following settings of your php.ini (which is effective)
Max file upload
Max execution time
Memory Limit
Also check for server variables of apache/ngix

It should positively start working
