After install and setting up a product to be a pre-order, not only does the button not change to pre order on the product page, it actually disappears entirely. I can tell where the button is supposed to be as my cursor changes, but there’s no visual indication of the button otherwise. Also, on the shop page, there’s the regular “Add to Cart” button, but no indication the item is a pre-order.

    Hi,
Maybe your theme (or another plugin) is messing/conflicting with it?
To troubleshoot, disable all plugins but WooCommerce and also switch temporarily to “Twenty Twenty-One” theme – does it work?
If yes, you have a conflict with your current theme or one of the plugins.
    Hope this helps!

The theme I’m using is Storefront, WooCommerce’s theme… really should be just as good as using 2021, no? (e.g. if it doesn’t work with woo’s own theme then what will it work with?)

Anyway I deactivated all non-security plugins and switched to 2021 and the behavior is still not as I’d expect. When I set pre-order date to a future date, the “Add to Cart” button becomes blank on both the shop page and the product page (in this scenario the button outline/background is still present) and there is no indication otherwise that this is a pre-order item. When I set the preorder date to the past, the add to cart button returns to normal function, presumably because the item is now a regular, non-pre-order item.

please make sure you save the preorder settings from WooCommerce > Settings > preorder TAB.
if that not work too, please fill up this form for priority support https://brightplugins.com/support/
