No importing the sample file import.csv

    When importing the import.csv sample, WP says “Import directory niet gevonden of hij is niet schrijfbaar. check of /uploads/csvimport bestaat”. However I am using UBUNTU and had created the directories upload/csvimport/fixed just under wp-content. And I have copied the csv file and the accompanying jpg images in the “fixed” directory.

    Noonetheless if I select the TAB “You already uploaded the files”, then WP import correctly the products in woocomerce but without images.

    In trying to understand, I have zipped all csv and jpg files and tried to import by activating the TAB “Select a ZIP file” and searching for it. After clicking in “start” button your plugin responds with “Kan de zip file niet uitpakken”.

    And as latest, if I go to TAB “Select your own files” and I search for the directory wp-content/upload/csvimport/fixed where the import.csv file is, it does nothing except the message “No CSV file is found”.

    So as a result I could not make working the CSV import plugin. Could you halp me please?

    i think you have a permission problem. Please check the permissions. It should be writable!

    Hi, I am trying to do the same thing and keep getting the message.

    Import directory niet gevonden of hij is niet schrijfbaar. check of /uploads/csvimport bestaat

    where should this directory be located as i cant see to find it?

    UPDATE:

    It means:

    Import directory not found or it is not writable. Check if/uploads/csvimport exists.

    I didn’t create the csvimport/fixed folder in the uploads folder.
